So this day started out fantastic! I was done with all the work I needed to do, only had class from 10-12 and then a relaxing hair appointment . I thought why not take Mac to get a bath too (he's stinky) and I'll go shop for fun photo props for our engagement pictures and then go home and pack for our move on Saturday. Doesn't that sound like a good, not too stressful day? I thought so too...
Got to school at 9:45 to print my assignment that was due today that I had spent about 3 hours on last night, opened up my document and WHAT?! It was definitely NOT the completed paper but the one that was not half done that I had started Tuesday night. Oh Crap...
12:30 got home, checked my school folder, checked windows, searched my computer, and nothing. No completed paper. Fantastic...now I get to write it all over again. And my hair appointment is in 45 min. Bye, bye relaxing, I, like the geek that I am, packed up my laptop and was clicking away on it in the waiting room, and later in the chair waiting for my hair to set while everyone else around me was reading People or Wedding magazines. Thankfully, I finished it by the end of my appointment and left the salon to head to school to print it out. At school I was told that my test grade from 2 weeks ago awaited me...soo got that one back (not too pretty).
Oh well, what's done is done, need to get Mac to his bath at Petsmart and then ahhh, an hour to myself at Michaels! Get into the grooming place 10 min late where they can't locate his file anywhere in their system. This is all while I have an 80lb dog pulling my arm off to leave or get to other dogs, which of course always fosters a calm and stress free spirit in me (that's sarcasm if you couldn't tell). I waited for 20 min as Mac is shaking and panting and trying to get to the door for them to tell me that his Rabis shot was up in June and he needs to get that before he can do anything, and of course, he just in general needs to have it. So I pull Mac over to the vets desk shaking and jittery and barking and pulling. Spend the next 20 min talking/trying to control my building frustration as the guy treats me like an idiot and like I'm completely putting him out with my request. Being treated like an idiot always puts me in a better mood too! Finally, an hour after I had entered the door we see the vet, get the shot and head out. As a parting gift Mac freaked out on a dog as we were leaving (to be fair the other dog barked at him first).
Finally got him in the car and headed home to pack up mine and Brock's apartment. Don't even know where to begin. We have some empty broken down boxes but I had forgotten to get the packing tape...so I quit and decided to write this (long) blog about my frustrating and stressful day.
Sorry for the rant. But the next post will be happy and include pictures of our new apartment!! YAY!!
